Blink-182's 'Bored to Death' Video Is Daydream-y Angst: Watch

With Blink-182's comeback album, California, just days away, it makes sense that the current trio of bassist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker and Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba would (finally!) release an official music video. The above clip is for the lead single on the release, "Bored to Death."

In the visual, Blink plays to a crowded, probably sweaty club space, potentially recalling the band's earliest days. Live shots are juxtaposed with a a seemingly straightforward narrative of a bored teenage boy looking for adventure.

He finds it, later realizing it was all a dream—a daydream, the kind of fantasy reserved for especially slow school days.
