Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard Storms Offstage During Concert With Chvrches

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard had an angsty rockstar moment last night, when he stormed off the stage during a concert at Charleston, S.C.'s Volvo Car Stadium. As the band performed “Soul Meets Body,” he tossed his guitar and earpiece to the side while still singing the track.

But Gibbard soon stopped and pushed his mic stand to the ground before leaving the stage. Along with the unexpected moment, Death Cab also paired up with Chvrches' Lauren Mayberry for a performance of “Brothers On A Hotel Bed" from 2005 Plans:
