Watch Jamie Foxx Play Future's 'Dad' in Verizon Commercial

Last night's stressful NBA Finals Game 7 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors (spoiler alert: the Cavs won) got a welcome moment of comic relief, thanks to Jamie Foxx! In a kind-of-weird but very funny Verizon commercial, the actor decided to turn himself in Future's father.

Brilliantly introducing himself as "Past," Foxx flipped the rapper's "Fuck Up Some Commas" hit for a parody that featured Future's signature fedora, way too much Auto-tune, gray dreadlocks and a few dab dance hits.

Along with explaining Verizon's mobile coverage, Foxx also boastfully calls out competitor AT&T. We'll keep you updated if the service drops a comeback diss commercial of their own...perhaps with Desiigner?
