'Walking Dead' Season 7 May Feature That Character With the Pet Tiger

The Walking Dead returns to AMC later this year, and expectations are already absurdly high for the show's seventh season. Long-held rumors within the WD universe are expected to finally come to fruition, and according to ComicBook.com, we might be introduced to a new character and his ferocious pet tiger when the premiere airs in October.

That character is Ezekiel—the ruler of a community he calls the Kingdom. He's the brainchild of Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and never leaves home without his pet tiger, Shiva. According to some early rumors, Shiva has already been incorporated in production, and will ultimately come to life through "a mix of animatronics and CGI."

But wait, there's more rumor-mill flesh for you to sink your teeth into, and it might involve a crossover with the show's other universe, Fear the Walking Dead. Speaking at Hawaii Comic Con in May, Kirkman told Comic Book that a WD and FtWD crossover is "completely possible." Which is to say, some major spoilers could be revealed—like the truth behind Daniel Salazar's death—if a crossover were to take affect this season.

If you're ready for a detail-heavy explanation of how a crossover would pan out, head to Inquisitr. Otherwise, stay tuned for Season 7 to pick up in August—more questions are bound to be answered then.
