Yearning to watch some of your long-canceled ABC favorites? There’s a good chance you can now, with the network announcing a relaunched streaming service that includes full seasons of 38 golden oldies that have long left primetime.
Per EW, the list of “throwback” series includes beloved programs like Ugly Betty, 8 Simple Rules, Ellen and Sports Night, as well as gone-too-soon gems like Dirty Sexy Money, FlashForward and Trophy Wife. Some non-ABC fare, like Felicity and Red Band Society, has also been picked up by the network’s updated service.
“Our team has completely re-imagined the digital viewing experience for ABC fans,” said Karin Gilford, ABC’s senior vice president of digital media, in a statement. “In addition to the current ABC shows that fans know and love, we are introducing new ABCd original digital series that are fun, fresh and perfect for mobile, and we are making full seasons of all-time favorite shows available for binging.”
The ABC app is available exclusively in the App Store, and its interface has been redesigned for the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. In addition to the series, the streaming service includes seven original short-form digital series, with more expected to be added to the platform soon.
