Drowning Pool's 82-Year-Old Super Fan Joins Band Onstage in Chicago: Watch

Last month, Drowning Pool fans the world over shrieked with delight when 82-year-old John Hetlinger gave a passionate karaoke performance of the band's song "Bodies" on America's Got Talent. The former aerospace engineer and Navy veteran's throaty bellows went viral and tickled the fancy of Drowning Pool guitarist CJ Pierce, who invited the senior citizen to sing "Bodies" with the band live at Chicago Open Air on Friday.

So without further adieu, watch Hetlinger live the hard rockin' dream with his favorite band above.

Pierce thought it was pretty wild seeing an octogenarian sining his band's song on a major TV program. He told Fuse last month: "I’ve been watching it over and over again, and I can’t stop. It’s awesome. You wouldn’t expect an 82-year-old man to get out there and just be like, “RAHHHH!!” He was fun."

Consequence of Sound notes that Hetlinger is reportedly set to join Drowning Pool again tonight at Ink in the Clink in Ohio.
