Pokémon GO is taking over mobile devices everywhere. The game is so popular, in fact, that it's gained more daily active users than any other game played in the United States at any time.

According to a report from Survey Monkey, the Poké-sensation has crushed every iOS and Android gaming competitor in its wake, and even overtook Twitter's daily active user base within three days of appearing in app stores.

As of yesterday, Pokémon GO hit 21 million active users, surpassing Candy Crush Saga's peak of 20 million users in the United States, set in 2013. SurveyMonkey notes that if the phenomenon keeps steamrolling like this, it'll likely surpass Snapchat and Google Maps in terms of daily active users.

There's already steep expectations belying where the game might lead next: Parent company Nintendo has seen its valuation skyrocket by over $7 billion since releasing Pokémon Go, there's been rumblings about a Game of Thrones version and even a live-action movie coming next. Wow.
