Belarus Customs Office Confuse Red Hot Chili Peppers for Metallica
While in an airport in Belarus, the Red Hot Chili Peppers were mistaken for Metallica by the airport’s custom officers.
“We were called into customs officials office at an airport in Belarus and they asked us to sign a bunch of Metallica cd's and photos,” band member Flea wrote on Instagram. Funnily enough, Flea inducted the heavy metal band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2009. Even after RHCP tried to clear up that they were not Metallica, they were still asked to sign Metallica memorabilia. “We tried to explain to them that we weren't Metallica but they insisted that we sign anyway,” Flea added.
