Sia Joins ‘My Little Pony’ Movie as ‘Pony Pop Star’

If you didn’t think the My Little Pony universe had equestrian pop stars: Think again. Sia, making the title of her latest album This Is Acting come to life, has joined the ever-growing cast of the My Little Pony feature film, as basically a pony version of herself.

Sia will voice the role of Songbird Serenade, a “pony pop star,” according to a press release. Excitingly, the Australian singer-songwriter will contribute to original songs to the upcoming film’s soundtrack.

The cast of My Little Pony: The Movie already includes Emily Blunt, Uzo Aduba, Kristen Chenoweth and Taye Diggs. Jayson Thiessen is attached to direct.
