As one of the flagship movies belonging to the DC Universe, Suicide Squad has inspired hype for a loooong time now.

Thursday brought a little morsel of casting news that shouldn't necessarily spoil any plotlines, but might prompt diehard fans to squeal with delight: Ezra Miller's Flash will cameo in the forthcoming film, alongside the already heavyweight cast of Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie. Ben Affleck's Batman will also appear, having just debuted in this past spring's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Comic Book Resources noticed Miller's name in a cast list, which was part of a routine DC Comics press kit. It's pretty obvious that the comic empire wasn't really trying to conceal his role in the movie, although the latent news should drum up a bit more anticipation in the final weeks before Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5. Miller super-briefly appeared as the Flash in Batman v Superman.
