Chris Brown has been arrested and subsequently released on $250,000 bail after a woman identified as Baylee Curran claimed he threatened her with a gun.

Following yesterday’s standoff with police, in which cops arrived at Brown’s home and the R&B star refused to leave his mansion, officers received a search warrant to make the arrest. Per NBC News, LAPD Lt. Chris Ramirez told reporters that Brown was eventually cooperative with the police after posting a profanity-filled rant on Instagram about how he was innocent.

"Mr. Brown is going to be transported where he will be arrested for ADW—assault with a deadly weapon," Ramirez told reporters at around 5 p.m. PST on Tuesday.

In a phone interview with E!, Curran says Brown pointed a gun at her face after an argument broke out about a diamond necklace. The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the case.
