The numbers are in, and in its fifth year, KCON continues to prove why it's one of the must-attend festivals in America.

According to KCON, the Korean-culture convention and festival garnered more than 76,000 for its three-day, 2016 celebration in Los Angeles, which included two sold-out nights of concerts that brought acts like BTS, SHINee, Girls' Generation-TTS, Eric Nam and more. That's a large jump in its 2015 attendance numbers, which saw 58,000 fans coming out for the LA dates in 2015.

Meanwhile, KCON also add that more than 42,000 attended KCON 2016 New York over its two-day festival a month earlier. That's an even bigger jump from the 17,000 attended the inaugural East Coast date last year that kicked off with a modest one-day celebration.

All in all, KCON reports attracting more than 110,000 fans in NY and L.A. for their KCON dates this year, which marks the fifth KCON festival since 2012. Crazy to think that was the same year "Gangnam Style" blew up, huh?
