Heads up for all you The Walking Dead fans: there may be spoilers ahead (obviously). The AMC drama's seventh season doesn't arrive until the fall, but the continuous release of new footage has everyone in biting their nails with anticipation. Their latest reveal dropped last night, and it teases the fate of a major character.
Fans will finally find out who Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed in the upcoming season, and based on the teaser, the signs are pointing to Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). The clip shows Dwight (Austin Amelio) rocking Daryl's motorcycle and signature angel-winged leather jacket.
Daryl is one of the most popular and beloved characters on TWD, so we're not implying that he's officially done for. But this teaser does make some pretty big implications.
"It was exhausting, and it was no fun. You know, we always come back to this show every season, and we’re like, 'Yeah, let’s get back into it!' You know, all the actors are excited to be here and see each other and get back into where they were," Norman Reedus told EW about filming the opening cliffhanger scene.
"But this was one of those where it’s like, 'Oh, f—. Here we go.' It was definitely not a joyous reunion. I mean, it was nice to see everybody again, of course, but it wasn’t the same as in previous years," he continued.
The Walking Dead will crawl back to AMC on Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. EST. But before then, check out Fuse's roundup of our favorite all-time comic book villains.
