They point to a recent Billboard roundtable, which included Wendy Goldstein, Republic Records executive VP/head of urban A&R. Goldstein was so pumped about an upcoming studio rendezvous that she couldn't keep the secret in:
“Actually, we have a session coming up in two days with The Weeknd and Daft Punk. I’m a massive Daft Punk fan, and this is the first time that I’ve actually been involved with an artist who’s going to go and work with them.”
If that's true, then this Instagram photo that The Weeknd posted makes a lot of sense.
So now, we wait. But can you just imagine what this team-up is going to sound like?
