Thomas Gibson Fired From ‘Criminal Minds’ After Kicking Executive Producer
Here’s the thing about kicking people on the set of a TV show: Don’t do it! Thomas Gibson, star of Criminal Minds, allegedly did not heed this advice, and now, he is not the star of Criminal Minds, via Vulture.
Gibson was suspended recently for reportedly kicking someone on the set of the drama, who was later reported to be executive producer Virgil Williams. Gibson issued a statement about the incident, but apparently it was not enough for ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios, who issued their own statement today:
“Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds. Creative details for how the character's exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date.”
