Zach Braff, best known for his starring role on Scrubs, is returning to network television with the single-camera comedy Start Up. The new series has reportedly received a put pilot commitment from ABC, per Deadline.

Start Up, based on Alex Blumberg’s popular podcast of the same name, will follow a husband and father who decides to quit his job and start his own business. Braff is set to direct the first episode of the series, which received interest from multiple networks.

Scrubs co-executive producer Matt Tarses will also be involved with Start Up. Tarses has since created Mad Love for CBS and has worked on The Goldbergs.

Braff, who has not starred in a series since Scrubs ended its nine-year run in 2010, has stayed busy in the film world. His latest directorial effort, Going in Style, is due out next year.
