Grumpy Cat, the moody feline who became an Internet sensation, is now turning her meme into a reality. According to EW, she will be the first real cat to appear in—wait for it—the new Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats.

“Being selected as the first real cat to perform in Cats on Broadway is an honor. I hate it,” she said in a statement. “If I’m really being honest, I’d prefer to play the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.”

Cats first opened on London's West End in May 1981 and has been performed in cities around the world. Before Grumpy Cat's addition, the musical typically featured humans portraying felines. Grumpy Cat will make an appearance during the curtain call on Sept. 30 at NYC's Neil Simon Theatre.

In other furry news, English director Tom Hooper (Les MisérablesThe King's SpeechThe Danish Girl) will be helming and producing the movie version of Cats.
