Where do you go when Adele doesn't work out? To Lady Gaga. After bringing us all to tears with her National Anthem at Super Bowl 50, Mother Monster is reportedly in talks for the Super Bowl LI halftime show. The game—a return to the Roman numeral format—goes down Feb. 5, 2017.

Billboard's sources say the NFL's interest in Gaga is directly related to the National Anthem stunner. The league responded to the magazine with this:

"We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision. We’re happy there is so much excitement about the show."

Fuse has reached out to Gaga's camp for comment.

Gaga called her Super Bowl 50 National Anthem performance "one of the highest honors of my career." That night's halftime show came from Coldplay with show-stealing support from Beyoncé and Bruno Mars.
