Kanye West has pushed back two upcoming dates on his Saint Pablo Tour in the wake of wife Kim Kardashian West being robbed at gunpoint in Paris. Live Nation announced the understandable news, saying “due to family concerns, this week’s Philadelphia [10/4] and Detroit [10/6] dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been rescheduled."
The Philadelphia concert will now take place on Dec. 13, with the Detroit show set for Dec. 22. Live Nation also stated ticket holders can use their original tickets on those dates. The Saint Pablo Tour will pick back up this Friday, Oct. 7 in Kanye's hometown of Chicago.
On Oct. 2, Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room by armed men. According to USA Today, the five assailants fled on bicycles and are still at large. They stole a jewelry box containing valuables worth almost $7 million as well as the ring Kanye gifted her, worth $4.5 million.
Kanye, who was performing at NYC's The Meadows Festival during the time, cut his set short due to what was dubbed "family emergency." Kim flew to New York yesterday with heavy security, and was reunited with her husband. Celebrities rose to Kim's defense on social media, including friend Chrissy Teigen who called out the double standard of fame.
