Miley Cyrus returned to The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, where the 23-year-old pop star felt comfortable enough to actually talk a little about being re-engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth, 26. Miley's big diamond ring was spotted way back in January, and though she spoke about Hemsworth's Pokémon GO habits in Elle in September, she "quite clearly called him her 'boyfriend' throughout our conversation," according to writer Amanda Fitzsimons.
Asked about her engagement ring on Ellen, Miley made no effort to correct the host's language or turn down her congratulations, instead plowing on:
"I actually—it's very weird, 'cause this is like, real jewelry, and most of my jewelry is made of, like, gummy bears and cotton candy. And they don't look that good together, 'cause they kind of mix up. So sometimes I, like, replace with an actual, like, unicorn, or a Looney Tune. And he's kinda like, 'What's going on?' It's like, well, this isn't really my aesthetic, but I'll wear it 'cause you love me."
Ellen wondered if Hemsworth could've saved a lot of money by getting her something sugarier; Miley thinks he definitely could've. Miley and the younger Hollywood Hem-Bro were previously engaged in June 2012.
