President Obama Shades Trump, Reads Mean Tweets on 'Kimmel': Watch

President Barack Obama's term is unfortunately almost over, but he's not leaving without throwing a few not-so-subtle jabs! Our commander-in-chief stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to read some meant tweets (and diss Donald Trump while doing so) for the second and probably the final time.

Obama took in a lot of criticism, with highlights including "Barack Obama is the Nickelback of presidents" and "Barack Obama dances like how his jeans look." One Twitter user asked "Bro, do you even lift?" His response? "Well, I lifted the ban on Cuban cigars—that's worth something."

Of course, the best tweet was saved for last and written by Trump himself. "President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!" the Republican candidate said. Obama smugly replied before an epic phone drop, "Well, at least I'll go down as a president." Burn!

POTUS also revealed that he does laugh at Trump, but explained that he thinks the candidate is a threat to American democracy unlike former Republican opponents John McCain and Mitt Romney. “Obviously, I thought I could do a better job, but they’re both honorable men,” Obama said. “And if they had won, then I wouldn’t worry about the general course of this country.”

Obama's Kimmel appearance comes after former presidential candidate Mitt Romney read Donald Trump's mean tweets back in March. Below, watch our Crash the Parties coverage of Hillary Clinton's big night at the DNC:
