After being crowned the winner of America’s Got Talent season 11, Grace VanderWaal (see all the reasons why you need to know her) is ready to take on the music world with her upcoming debut EP—Perfectly Imperfect. The 12-year-old singer/songwriter announced the news today, tweeting:
"A year ago I auditioned for America's Got Talent & my life changed forever. Today I'm announcing my #PerfectlyImperfect EP out 12/2 😊❤ #MiraclesDoHappen. 💕 I can't wait to share it with you guys. This is just the beginning."
Perfectly Imperfect is set for a Dec. 2 release date via Columbia Records and Syco Music. AGT judge Simon Cowell signed VanderWaal to his label back in September, after calling her “the next Taylor Swift."
Fans who preorder the EP on Nov. 18 will receive an instant download of “I Don’t Know My Name,” the song that Grace performed for her AGT audition. Along with the debut project news, the rising star also shared a video called "Perfectly Imperfect" that documents her adorable music journey.
