First 'Trainspotting 2' Trailer: Watch the Original Cast Return to Their Wild Child Ways
The gang is back—and they haven't aged a bit! After 20 years, the original cast of Trainspotting (Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle) are returning for the sequel. The official full-length trailer has arrived, and it's anchored by Renton's (played by McGregor) classic "Choose Life" monologue that will give you flashbacks from the 1996 film.
But it's given a modern twist, with Renton saying "Choose Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and hope that someone, somewhere cares." The trailer spins into madness with shots of revenge porn, endless drug use, drinking and—of course—lots of running by Renton, Spud, Sick Boy, Begbie and Diane. And they're still jamming to Underworld's 1995 club hit, "Born Slippy."
