'X-Men' TV Spinoff 'Legion' Gets New Trailer, Picks Premiere Date: Watch

The Marvel universe takeover continues on television, thanks to FX's Legion arriving next year. The network released the series' latest trailer of the X-Men spinoff today, which also comes with a nice surprise: the official release date. If you haven't impatiently scrolled down yet, watch above to find out what it is.

Dan Stevens (Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast) stars as David Haller, the son of Professor Xavier. He is show being treated for schizophrenia in a mental facility that seems more traumatizing than helpful. But does Haller really have an illness ? Or is it all created by the government to control his mutant powers?

The cast of Legion (helmed by Fargo creator Noah Hawley) also includes Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller, Katie Aselton, Jean Smart, Jeremy Harris, Amber Midthunder and Bill Irwin. It is a joint project between FX Productions and Marvel Television, will premiere on Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. EST.
