2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: Tupac, Pearl Jam, Journey & More to Be Inducted

The 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame list is now here, and it features four inductees getting in on their first try: TupacPearl JamJourney, Joan Baez and Electric Light Orchestra. They all join three-time nominees Yes in this year's group of of legendary artists recognized for their musical impact.

This marks the first time Tupac and Pearl Jam were eligible, and they're also the first inductees to join who began their careers in the '90s. Bad Brains, Depeche Mode, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane’s Addiction, Steppenwolf were among the first-time nominees as well, with Chic, Joe Tex, J. Geils Band, Janet Jackson, The Zombies, The Cars, MC5 and Kraftwerk getting repeat nominations. While the 11-time nominees Chic did not get inducted this year, frontman Nile Rodgers received the award for Musical Excellence.
