'Wayne's World' Returning to Theaters for 25th Anniversary

Get ready to relive the hilarious adventures of Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar soon, as Wayne's World will be returning to theaters next month. The classic comedy, based on the Saturday Night Live sketches starring Mike Myers and Dana Carvey, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. 

So, SpectiCast and Paramount Pictures is bringing it back across the U.S. on Feb. 7 and 8. After the screenings, a pre-recorded discussion with Wayne’s World director Penelope Spheeris, Rolling Stone film critic Peter Travers and select cast members will be shown. Click here to see the list of participating theaters that will be helping Wayne's World celebrate its 25th birthday.

Pitchfork points out Paramount Home Media Distribution plans to release a Wayne’s World double feature on DVD and Digital HD on Feb. 14, which is the movie's anniversary date. The iTunes edition will feature new extras including a director’s commentary and a making-of featurette.
