We have bad news for all the Charmed fans out there: the reboot is now being delayed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The CW is pushing back the show as well as their Lost Boys remake to next season. The network is currently focusing on six pilots for this season, leaving them with less wiggle room to focus on the reboots.

Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman is in the middle of the show's third season, so she cannot give the necessary attention to the Charmed remake (she'll be producing it). Rob Thomas, iZombie's executive producer, is developing Lost Boys. The movie was released in 1987 and featured Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Each season of the reboot is set in a different decade, beginning in 1967 in San Francisco.

The Charmed reimagining was first announced in early January and will take place in 1976. The original show starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan. It premiered on The WB in October 1998 and ran for eight seasons through 2006.

As we wait for the remake's official premiere date, keep your nostalgia spirits alive with the latest episode of Fuse's Besterday podcast below:
