Isolated vocal tracks are having a week! After Beyoncé's GRAMMYs performance got its own mind-blowing, pared-down release, another vocally gifted music icon, Gerard Way, has one. It's My Chemical Romance's Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge single "Helena," set solely to the sound of Way's acrobatic vox.

The Facebook account that shared the "Helena" clip has also uploaded vocal standalones from Korn, Queen and Evanescence. There's also a subreddit dedicated to collecting these.

It was recently revealed that Gerard Way will take his comic book–writing talents to Femme Magnifique, a new anthology “saluting 30 female trailblazers of yesterday and today.” At the end of 2016, he said he's "always writing music" and is in the process of creating a home recording studio. "I look forward to making some really weird stuff here, and mine for the really hard to get diamonds."
