Trailer: 'The Lego Ninjago Movie' Will Follow 'Lego Batman' In Style

The Lego Batman Movie is two days away, so it's time to get psyched about the next film in the toy world's equivalent of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Today's the first look at The Lego Ninjago Movie, which is already on deck for Sept. 22, 2017. Watch above and hear the voices of Dave Franco (as the lead, Green Ninja Lloyd), Jackie Chan (Sensei Wu), Justin Theroux (baddie Garmadon), Fred Armisen, Abbi Jacobson, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Peña and Zach Woods.

So? Too much Lego? Those big things totally look like Transformers? Seen the dueling father/son plot 42,000 times? Well, remember this: Any movie that does as good a job as The Lego Movie did at creating a big-screen action-comedy with actual Legos combined with with pixels that look very much like actual Legos ("CG w/ real Lego elements done in a photoreal stop-motion style," director Chris Miller tweeted of the original) is worth a try.
