'Trolls 2' Is Real, Sequel Announces Release Date
Four months after Trolls hit theaters, DreamWorks Animation has cleared its throat and announced a sequel. Trolls 2 will give your eyeballs sensory overload on April 10, 2020.
Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake will be back to voice Poppy and Branch. JT just performed "Can't Stop the Feeling!" at the 89th Oscars; the No. 1 single was in competition for Best Original Song.
No word on which of the other A-list voice actors—including Gwen Stefani, Zooey Deschanel, James Corden, Russell Brand, Christine Baranski, Quvenzhané Wallis and Icona Pop—will return. Deadline reports that director Mike Mitchell will not be back as he's helming The Lego Movie Sequel.
