The lack of female artists on huge festival lineups has always been a frustrating trend in the industry, and it continues with today's reveal of Wireless Festival 2017. The roster for the U.K. event is riddled with some of the biggest male stars, with only Zara Larsson, Noname, Yuna and The Age of L.U.N.A (fronted by Daniella Thomas) representing for the ladies on the 40-plus act lineup.
Chance the Rapper, The Weeknd and Skepta take the big headlining slots, while Bryson Tiller, G-Eazy, Young Thug, Desiigner, Rae Sremmurd, Nas, Tory Lanez, Sean Paul, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign and more fill out the roster. There are more artists and two special guests left to be revealed, so we'll see if the festival's organizers actually add more women.
The festival takes place from July 7-9 at London's Finsbury Park. Tickets are on sale now, and you can click here for more information. Next up, watch a young Chance the Rapper interview with Fuse as part of our Future Black History Month celebration:
