Blondie called upon Blood Orange (a.k.a Dev Hynes) for their new "Long Time" single, which will have you eager to hit the dance floor with a crisp champagne bottle in hand. Co-written by Hynes, the track features glossy production that is heightened by Debbie Harry's airy vocals.
"Long Time" follows their '70s-tinged space track "Fun," both of which are found on Blondie's upcoming Pollinator album. Their 11th LP is their first since 2014's Ghosts of Download. It includes a handful of collaborations with Sia, Charli XCX, TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, The Strokes’ Nick Valensi, The Smiths’ Johnny Marr, Joan Jett and more.
Look out for Pollinator's release on May 5. Blondie will be taking the album on the road with their Rage and Rapture Tour alongside Garbage, which kicks off on July 5. Next up, watch Fuse's throwback chat with Blondie in celebration of their 40th anniversary:
