Simple Plan once covered the Scooby-Doo theme song, and fans want it resurrected in live form. The band appeared in cartoon form on What's New, Scooby-Doo?'s second season way back in 2004. The newly charged nostalgia is appropriate, given that the band is about to start a 15th anniversary tour and play '02's No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls in full.

And so Alix Epstein of Downington, Penn. started the petition on, because the world needs to change from being a place where Simple Plan do not perform "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" to a world where they do. As of this publication, the petition has passed its original goal of 500 signatures and scored 550, with a new goal of 1,000. "They didn't ask for a specific number but I'm shooting for as many as I can!" Epstein writes on the page.

Simple Plan's 15th anniversary tour, supported by Seaway and Set It Off, hits Philadelphia's Theatre of Living Arts on March 28.
