To ease your final few days of waiting for Humanz, Gorillaz have dropped "The Apprentice." One of five bonus songs from the deluxe edition of the virtual band's first album in seven years, this one's got Rag‘n’Bone Man, Zebra Katz, and Ray BLK. This is the sixth Humanz record we've heard, and the quality hasn't dipped an inch.
Gorillaz' new one drops April 28 and is set to feature the likes of Pusha T, D.R.A.M., Vince Staples, Grace Jones, Carly Simon, Anthony Hamilton, Danny Brown, Mavis Staples and more. (Every tune has at least one featured artist; the interlude tracks are narrated by Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn, of Rogue One and Bloodline.)
Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's group recently announced a lonnng-awaited North American tour, as well as the fact that they've got at least 40 more unfinished songs.
