'Orange Is The New Black' Season 5 Teaser Ends With a Bang (Literally): Watch

The ladies of Litchfield are back! Netflix just dropped the Orange Is The New Black Season 5 teaser, and it is just as chaotic as you'd expect it to be. The minute-long first look picks up right where the previous season left off, with Daya (Dascha Polanco) holding a gun to correction officer Thomas Humphrey's (Michael Torpey) head.

The riot first began with Poussey's (Samira Wiley) unexpected death that mimicked Eric Garner's tragic murder in 2014. We then fast forward to the inmates egging Daya on to shoot the guard. Alex (Laura Prepon) and Piper (Taylor Schilling) also make appearances in the hall. "Everybody be quiet" she utters before the trigger is pulled and the scene sharply cuts to black.

Season 5 of Orange Is The New Black takes place over the course of three days. Look out for its Netflix premiere on June 9. Last February, the hit series was renewed for three more seasons, so the ensemble cast won’t be leaving Litchfield anytime soon! “Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things," showrunner and series creator Jenji Kohan said. "In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures. Here’s to keeping it interesting."

Ahead of the premiere, throw it back to 2014 where Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Natasha Lyonne and other OITNB cast members weigh in on who'd be the bigger prison boss: Rihanna or Nicki Minaj?
