Saturday Night Live just announced its next three shows, and they go a little something like this: Chris Pine/LCD Soundsystem on May 6, Melissa McCarthy and HAIM on May 13, and Dwayne Johnson and Katy Perry on May 20, which'll be the SNL Season 42 finale.
This marks McCarthy's fifth hosting gig; since Season 37, she's only missed one year. This year, of course, she's been slaying a recurring Sean Spicer impression. It's the third time visiting Studio 8H for Johnson and Perry; it's HAIM's second.
We'd kill to see The Rock (who'll be there promoting the Baywatch reboot) do something musical with KP (who has both hosted and musical-guested), but we'd also die to see Melissa McCarthy become the fourth HAIM sister.
SNL last aired on April 15, when alum Jimmy Fallon hosted and Harry Styles was the musical guest. It was the first episode since the NBC staple changed its M.O. and began broadcasting simultaneously on the East and West Coast alike.
