Blink-182's New Song Is the Lovechild of 'Enema of the State' & 'California'

Blink-182's California deluxe edition arrives next Friday, May 19, with a hearty 11 new songs. Fortunately the pop-punk lords aren't stingy about sharing early. Today's taste, "Wildfire," arrives in a lyric video with a bold statement from the trio:

Released last July, California is the first Blink-182 album since Alkaline Trio guitarist Matt Skiba replaced Tom DeLonge. It'll boast 10 brand new songs, the original Japanese edition's bonus track and an acoustic rendition of lead single "Bored to Death." Mark Hoppus has told us to expect the second disc to play "like a whole other album," one with tracks "we just wrote last week, a lot of high-energy songs, punk rock, some more ballad-y songs, a little more electronic experimentation."

Also available to stream now are "Parking Lot" and "Misery." You can also get your thrills with Fuse/Blink interview from way back in '04:
