'House of Cards' Season 5 Trailer Echoes Anti-Trump Protests

Frank Underwood's chokehold on fictional America isn't loosening. The first House of Cards Season 5 trailer shows that Kevin Spacey's nefarious President and Robin Wright's First Lady have plans to occupy the Oval Office at least through 2036. Doesn't matter if that's a monarchical move, or if folks are outside the White House holding anti-Trump–ian signs like "NOT MY PRESIDENT" and "NEVER UNDERWOOD."

And we've got good news for fans who've been on board for a while: the grayer Frank Underwood's hair gets, the more intense the dangers and thrills get.

House of Cards Season 5 drops May 30 and is the first without showrunner Beau Willimon, who adapted the Netflix series from a British original. Senior writers Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese are taking over the gig.
