J. Cole Uses SWAT Studio Raid Footage for 'Neighbors' Video, Shares '4 Your Eyez Only' Doc

J. Cole's 4 Your Eyez Only track "Neighbors" was inspired by a March 2016 SWAT team raid on a North Carolina studio called The Sheltuh, where the NC MC was working. The police were tipped off by a nearby resident who assumed Cole & Co. were growing weed or selling drugs.

Now the abbreviated music video is just one minute and 19 seconds of security footage of the incident. It wraps with cops taking down the cameras. The track features lines like "Cops bust in with the army guns, no evidence of the harm we done / Just a couple neighbors that assume we slang / Only time they see us we be on the news, in chains, damn."
