KCON 2017 New York is officially set. The K-pop and Korean-culture festival just announced that NCT 127 and Zion.T will be the final acts to join in on the New York edition of KCON USA presented by Toyota.
The boy band and R&B crooner will meet KCONers and take the stage at the massive Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. and just like last year, KCON New York will boast two days of panels, workshops, food trucks, artist meet-and-greets and convention fun along with two days of concerts. In addition to everything a K-pop fan could want, KCON has promised expanded offerings in the K-beauty, K-food, and e-sports scenes. Get familiar with KCON's newly designed logo above.
NCT 127 is the Seoul-based boy band that has a constantly shifting sound and set of members with the group most recently dropping the intense anthem "Limitless" featuring nine members. KCONers can likely expect the nine guys to show up and perform their genre-spanning singles like "Fire Truck," "Switch" and tracks from their Limitless EP that recently hit No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart.
Meanwhile, Zion.T will offer represent the rising Korean R&B genre this year with the popular crooner coming to share his chart-topping singles like "Yanghwa Bridge," "No Make Up" and cuts from his newly released OO album. Fans have seen Zion.T at KCON Los Angeles, but this will be his first time at the New York edition.
KCON returns to the New York area on June 23 and 24. Combo tickets for the concerts go on sale May 12, single packages go on sale May 15 and $20 convention tickets go on sale May 19.
