The king of viral videos is back.
PSY just unveiled two new music videos to coincide with the release of his eighth studio album titled 4X2=8. The first, for his new single called "New Face," brings a bouncy, saxobeat-inspired production for a visual that sees typical PSY donning a slew of ridiculous ensembles and getups while trying to impress his female co-star which K-pop fans will recognize as Naeun of girl group Apink.
The second single "I Luv It" seems to see PSY hitting back at any haters for his unprecedented success. Over a '90s-inspired dance beat, he raps, "I'm not what you expected, I don't really care" while images of his YouTube views hitting unbelievable amounts are seen on the screen. Fans will also see Lee Byung Hun (the South Korean actor from the G.I. Joe franchise) co-star alongside our horsey-dancing hero.
"New Face" and "I Luv It" are the lead singles from 4X2=8 that includes an impressive roster of internationally recognized K-pop stars including G-Dragon and Taeyang (both of whom are from BIGBANG), Tablo of Epik High, B.I and Bobby of iKON, and actress Lee Sungkyoung. Meanwhile, superstar producers like J.Y.Park, Zico and Kush contributed to different tracks.
You can stream the full album on Apple Music now. While many know PSY for his breakout viral hits, these new tracks truly stay in line with the rapper-singer who's always had a knack for catchy hooks and high-energy productions.
