Today (Aug. 29) is a time of celebration for the King of Pop, as it would've been his 59th birthday. His daughter Paris honored her late father's legacy and showed love with some birthday wishes.
The 19-year-old penned this endearing note on her Instagram along with an adorable throwback photo of her planting a smooch on MJ:
"birthday wishes to the love of my life, the one person who showed me what passion truly was, the one that gave me solid morals to live by and how to dream. i will never feel love again the way i did with you. you are always with me and i am always with you. though i am not you, and you are not me, i know with all of my being that we are one. and our souls will never change in that way. thank you for the magic, forever and always."
Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009 at age 50. Earlier in January, Paris told Rolling Stone that she still thinks her father was murdered. "Because it's obvious. All arrows point to that," she said. "It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bullshit." Paris also has many tattoos in honor of MJ, explaining "He's brought me nothing but joy. So, why not have constant reminders of joy?"
