Coachella 2019 Lineup: Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala Are Your Headliners + Spotify Playlist
It’s the first week of January, and you know what that means: the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup has arrived! Dropping the list of artists performing at the Indio, California, music fest is exciting enough, but this year marks the 20th anniversary of the festival, which makes it all the more exciting!
Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, and Ariana Grande will be headlining Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. If you were hoping for a Ye-Chella, you’ll be disappointed to know that Kanye West will not be headlining despite rumors suggesting he would be (it’s been reported that West pulled out after negotiations over his stage fell through). Justin Timberlake, another rumored headliner, will not be performing either.
But as far as those who will be performing go, the line up looks amazing as per usual: Janelle Monae, Solange, Khalid, Bad Bunny, Kid Cudi, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Pusha T, Blood Orange, Playboi Carti, Kacey Musgraves, Juice WRLD, Ella Mai, Sabrina Claudio, Sofi Tukker, Kaytranada, the 1975, Tierra Whack, Lizzo, Diplo, and K-pop girl group Blackpink—just to name a few.
