'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' Packs Stellar Soundtrack
Pirates, blood, secret missions and awesome music. Maybe this isn't exactly a traditional pairing, but that doesn't make it any less awesome – and it's precisely what you get with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
We were on hand at West Hollywood's Greystone Manor for the game's launch party – check out the video above – and it made us even more excited for the October 29 release of the latest installment in the Assassin's Creed series.
One of the game's highlights is its soundtrack, which was brought to life by composer / conductor / producer Bryan Tyler. The California-based Tyler has a track record providing music for great games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Far Cry 3, along with several blockbuster movies.
The soundtrack, which is available on iTunes, fits the game perfectly. Black Flag begins in 1715, when pirates roamed the seas, and the soundtrack bears similarities to the renowned Pirates of the Caribbean film scores.
Take a listen to Tyler's work on iTunes and get ready for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag next week.
