Future Women's History Honors Chanel Miller!

This week, for #FutureWomensHistory we’re honoring Chanel Miller. When her anonymous victim impact statement detailing her sexual assault went viral in 2015, the whole country knew her story, but not her name. Known for years as “Emily Doe,” her statement was a revelation, a nuanced, detailed, and courageous act of a woman reclaiming her voice. In 2019, Chanel Miller gave up her anonymity and her book, ‘Know My Name,’ became a best seller. For her work and being a beacon of hope, inspiration, and compassion for women and survivors everywhere, Chanel Miller is Future Women’s History.
