Artists Pay Tribute Nipsey Hussle with Stunning Fan Art
Fans across the world have been grieving the sudden and tragic loss of rapper and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle. On the evening of March 31, the Victory Lap artist was shot outside his Marathon Clothing store, later succumbing to his injuries.
The Grammy-nominated rapper was perhaps just as well-known for his entrepreneurial sense and for uplifting his community as he was for his music. He invested in tech, with both his own business, Marathon Clothing, and in Vector90, a coworking space and STEM center in Crenshaw. Hussle was also a patron of the arts—he was involved in Destination Crenshaw, an open-air museum in Crenshaw, Los Angeles, that celebrates black Los Angeles.
As friends, families, and fans alike grieve, there has been an outpouring of art dedicated to the man who lived and breathed—and invested in—art of all kinds. Rest in Power, Nipsey Hussle.
