We've had UK electro-pop singer Little Boots' "Broken Record" playing nonstop since it came out last month. Now the singer has released the accompanying video, which finds her celebrating the more party-centric side of the band.
"It's a roller disco rave. It's very much a 1970s Top of the Pops aesthetic," the singer tells Fuse, referencing the long-running British music program. "I wanted old lighting, but also to feel very cinematic and modern."
Directed by AU Agency (AlunaGeorge), the clip showcases the group's feelgood, dancey side. "Everyone is skating and dancing and partying hard," says Little Boots. "It's all slo-mo and sweaty. I really wanted to do a performance video where I'm playing with the band. That's how we do live shows and that's when I feel the most natural. So I wanted to do a video where I feel like that."
