After a second-place finish on Dancing With the Stars, Disney Channel actress Zendaya is turning her attention toward her debut album in September.
But once she unleashes her first album into the world, the Shake It Up star tells Fuse she wants to expand her sound to include hip hop.
"You have to establish yourself first, because you don't want your sound to get filtered out in the beginning," Zendaya says. "I want to work with rap artists like A$AP [Rocky] or Big Sean or maybe a Kendrick Lamar, to mix my style and their styles. Plus I'm doing rhythmic pop which has an R&B flavor."
