Brendon Urie Gets Naked, Channels D'Angelo in "Girls/Girls/Boys" Video
Hey, Miley Cyrus and Terry Richardson: You guys have some competition. Panic! at the Disco is throwing their hat in the shocking-everybody-by-getting-nearly-nude ring with their latest video, "Girls/Girls/Boys."
In the third video from the band's latest album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, frontman (and part-time Fuse employee) Brendon Urie gets buck-ass naked in a stark black room as the camera pans around him, bringing to mind D'Angelo's infamous 2000 video, "Untitled (How Does It Feel)." I now know more about Brendon's belly button than I ever thought I would.
Perhaps filming the video was a bit of a creative release for Urie. Panic! has experienced their share of ebbs lately--the band announced that drummer Spencer Smith will not be touring in order to continue treatment for substance abuse. Maybe Brendon just wanted to get naked and let it all out?
Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die! is out now.
