Evidence and Alchemist Face Off in Step Brothers' "Step Masters" Video
When Fuse explored Evidence's record collection for Crate Diggers earlier this year, the Dilated Peoples rapper/producer also updated us on Lord Steppington, his upcoming collaborative project with friend and fellow Cali producer Alchemist.
And while we still have to wait until January 21 for the full Step Brothers album, the duo released visuals for "Step Masters," which finds the pair engaged in various competitive games and challenges.
Directed by Jason Goldwatch, "Step Masters" shows the pair battling in Fastest Beer Chug, Most Points Won in Whack-a-Mole and Dance Dance Revolution, among many others.
"We didn’t plan on making an album," Evidence told Fuse. "We just hung out and recorded and did wild sh-t and looked at the laptop one day and said, ‘Oh, there’s 20 songs.’ We bottled it up and made it interesting and that’s what you get. It’s the blackest album from two white people in the history of hip hop."
